[su_box title=”Bio” style=”soft” box_color=”#68d4e1″][su_row][su_column size=”1/2″ center=”no” class=””] Luna Eikar, was born on July 13, 1982 in Villa de San Diego de Ubaté (Cundinamarca / Colombia). She comes from a Catholic family, her parents, two mathematical-physical teachers and a maternal aunt instilled good manners on her and also love for art. Her father made part of a choir as a tenor , in where her daugther followed his steps at a young age. At age 8 she began to compose and at the age of 14 she recorded for the first time a musical production with songs of her authorship. However, her faith, instead of being a real passion used to make no difference. That was when she ventured as an artist into the New Age practice producing “Hora Cero”. An artwork that made her gain a nomination in the Equinoccio Latin Awards. Just when she thought she was achieving her dream of being a recognized singer, she began to feel a great emptiness in her heart. The music industry started to seem a huge disappointing mistake just when she experienced dishonesty, lust, and transgressions to her persona. She was treated as a commercial commodity that had to sell at all cost. The music industry exerces a huge pressure on artists and Luna was not the exception. To sum up, this pressure mixed with Yoga, orientalism and divination practices contaminated her spirit to the point of wreaking havoc her psychological and health estability. That was the exact point when she realized she was on the brink of the abyssm. [/su_column] [su_column size=”1/2″ center=”no” class=””] Later, JesusChrist showed mercy and kidness on her sending a Lay Missionary that shaped her life mission changing the course of her life forever. It was not an easy task even though; yet she accepted the challenge to preach the gospel through her artwork and music. Her first public appearance was under the album “Luz y Sal”, which premiered in 2009, thanks to God’s blessings. She now share with us a new artwork called “Tu Llave” that aims to give meet a young and close Jesus, a Friend Jesus, buddy, key, parce, a faithful friend. Luna currently lives in Bogota, capital city of Colombia. She is married to Luis Gabriel Dominguez a Man of God, Mechanical Engineer by profession, who is proclaimer and coordinator in his Corpus Christi Parish Community. She is the mother of a 4 year old boy named Gabriel Francisco and is part of the MCU Community “United Catholic Musicians”. [/su_column][/su_row][/su_box]
