Let’s Touch Hearts with God’s Music

Ismael José Peña is a  Christian-Catholic songwriter and record producer from Miramar, Florida, United States. On April 27, 2004, he experienced a strong call from Jesus that led him to serve him through his music. Since then, he is devoted to form and grow spiritually himself to serve the Lord through his gifted voice.

Ismael is originally from the city of Masaya, Nicaragua. His artistic perspective stem from a well-shaped Catholic roots family; yet he dived into the media as a secular artist. He showed a substantial interest in music since he was a little boy that remains until these days as a solo singer. An array of influences across pop, rock and tropical genres can be found in his artwork. He has been hailed as the “Baby of Salsa” in the Latino community. His impressive experience has attracted the attention of other artists to make mutual collaborations such as Wilfredo Vargas, Las Chicas del Can, Sergio Vargas, Calle Ocho Orchestra, Willie Chirino, Franco de Vita and Luis Miguel to name a few.

As other artists in the secular world, he experienced the emptiness that brings that type of lifestyle situation that led him to a deep depression in the past. It was not until 2004 when he was touched by God through a Christian song transforming his life forever. Since then he has been working in several atypical combination of tropical rhythms presented as an interesting new Christian music concept. He is a tireless minister in the Holy Mass in different Catholic parishes such as Camino a Damasco, Monte Carmelo, Heralds of the Gospel and other prayer groups in Miami until today.
