Ana is available to teach dance, Pilates and overall fitness programs for adults and children of all ages with spiritual focus.

She is originally from Nicaragua and has spent a lifetime refining her craft and combining the art of dance and fitness with her heart for service. Ana is a professional movement trainer who strives to condition and strengthen her students and clients through mind, body and spirit connections. [/su_box]
[su_note note_color=”#66e0ff”]She is a certified Polestar® Pilates CPT and PMA® certified instructor as well as fully certified in dance, and physical education for grades K-12 with the Florida State Department of Education. Ana’s years of professional dance training include studying with renown teachers. In addition, her repertoire of movement and fitness knowledge includes AIS-Active Isolated Stretching, Gyrokinesis, TRX suspension system and the Eric Franklin Method. She is a graduate of New World School of the Arts and FIU; Attended UM School of Communications for continuing education courses and holds an MFA in Choreography Education/Research PAR (Practice as Research) from Jacksonville University with a residency at White Oak. From 1993-2012, Ana founded and directed an after school performing arts enrichment and outreach program for children in the City of Miami Beach Parks and Recreation. She is presently a consultant for the Miami Beach JCC Performing Arts Summer Program. Ana is an active and well-respected performing artist working on encouraging adult dancers with the desire to dance to continue to share their ideas & life’s stories through “The Bolt Movement”
Through this movement concept she creates dance training programs for all ages with Pilates principles and overall healthy living for people from all walks of life. Her performance experience: Dance Now Ensemble, Florida Grand Opera, Rosita Segovia Dance Co., Aire Flamenco, Florida Dance Festivals, Marie Whitman’s company ‘Eat your Poem’ performing at women’s shelters and is presently a guest artist with Wings to Fly Dance Company.
Ana presented ‘The Bolt Movement’ workshop titled “The Vessels of Grace & The Graces of Aging” in Canada for a group of movement enthusiasts ages 24-78. She performed one of her latest work titled “The Crucifix and I.” In her quest to expand her knowledge and involvement in academia Ana is a freelance writer for http://www.perifmedia.com In addition to teaching, Ana has performing arts and fitness management experience.

Her leadership, training and expert coaching, have prepared many students to attend prestigious schools such as Juilliard in New York, Ailey/Fordham University, New World School of the Arts in Miami, Boston Conservatory, Florida State University, Broadway Theatre Project, Miami City Ballet and Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. She is known for her integrity, her desire to serve others and her un-dying commitment to building the community’s youth through the Arts. To serve the needs of others, she has an ‘Online Business For A Cause with Arbonne’ The proceeds go to the homeless veterans and survivors of domestic abuse. Her holistic approach to life and teaching, builds not only dance technique and athletic skills, but confidence, self-esteem and character in her students and clients. Ana has been able to help students transform their lives not only into artists or athletes, but into wholesome professional individuals. She believes that the arts and fitness serve a bigger purpose in an individual’s life that goes beyond the stage.
